I liked the photo. I do not think noise is an issue in this. Ultimately I am ooking at the picture and not the noise in the picture !!!
Someone mentioned to adjust the ISO (even if it takes a week). After taking the picture there is no way to adjust ISO. You can change the EV value or use a noise removal software to clean-up (to some extend)
I think Rishi was also asking me to do the ISO adjustment prior to my click. He was just pulling my legs by using "one week.." (based on my earlier comment about my Point & shoot camera which takes a lot of time to adjust ISO-“ഈ ക്യാമറായില് ഐ എസ് ഓ അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യണമെങ്കില് ഒരാഴ്ച എടുക്കും. I'm sure he does know that the ISO adjustment's not a PP.
About the snap. It was taken from the hard shoulder of a highway during an emergency stop (In the middle of 5 Hr drive). All I wanted was good depth of field with some silhouette effect. I think I'd used f/8.0 (which is the smallest aperture of my P&S camera).
Fortunately I came across with the noise reduction software-Dfine 2.0 when I had been helping one of my colleagues, (She's a semi professional camerawoman-shoots with a Nikon D300.) during the preparation of company's news letter. She was editing the photos taken from our office dinner party (low light photos) and the software was giving amazing results. (But I never paid that much attention as I haven't taken photography seriously.)
Once again thanks for the tips. :)
I think we lack good critics in Mal Foto blogs. Everybody is simply prising others. I think healthy criticism will always improve the quality & knowledge.
